Scuba Educators International – SEI (After 2010)
Professional Diving Instructors Corporation – PDIC
Y-Scuba (YMCA)
Military Diver Program
We maintain the databases of each of these agency’s. Some of the records are inconsistent. Validation of your previous certification may be required. Due to compatibility only the Scuba Educators International database can be used to validate a divers certification. When a replacement card is issued the certification is added to the Scuba Educators International Database. Your Card will be issued by Scuba Educators International with a notification on the card stating “Previously certified by Y-SCUBA” or “Previously Certified by PDIC”
YMCA SCUBA Program (also known as Y-SCUBA) was an underwater diving training program operated by YMCA of the USA from 1959 to 2008. It was the first nationally organized underwater diving instruction program offered in the United States of America. A program with a similar content is now delivered by Scuba Educators International.
